Charles Ernst Scharlau → Charles E. Scharlau – Although the individual's German middle name was indeed Ernst, the anglicised name he actually used is obscure, and all references to him that I've discovered indicate he went by Charles E. Scharlau. A red link to Charles E. Scharlau exists on United States Senate election in Illinois, 1885 which will be resolved by this move. KE5JK (talk) 18:03, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
