Merger proposition[edit]

I see no reason to merge this page with Hector McFadyen - is it common to merge without reason expressed? I'm guessing they are twins by their birthdays, but still not sure why we should merge?
[edit] Have now looked at their identical death dates and it's looking kinda likely they are the same person - in which case I think they should be merged! Clare. (talk) 20:54, 19 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

As they had identical dates, this came up on Wikidata. Obviously, it's still possible that dates get mixed-up at some point, especially if people have similar names. Jura1 (talk) 21:19, 19 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
