folks: The Tom Owens link is wrongly directed, and it was the WLS not the WSM barndance. I'll get to it soon if no one else does. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Blidgood (talkcontribs) 18:03, 22 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Peer Review[edit]

First of all, the side bar with the background information is very well put together - you can easily find the basic information that most people are looking for. I feel like the introduction should give a general summary about the main parts in the article. Further, I think the main part of the article should be divided into smaller subsections (i.e. early life, performance, radio work, and later life). Lastly, the references should be more up to date and there should be more overall in order to help the article be more reputable. Resources like "Bluegrass Unlimited" and "The Music of Bill Monroe" could be used to find new content to add to this article. This is also a great article to find some background information related to Birch Monroe, whom I will be researching soon!Banjerpicker77 (talk) 17:46, 10 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
