Uffington?[edit]

¨...only the Westbury White Horse being older" What about the Uffington White Horse?--Wetman (talk) 21:56, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, but "...the second oldest of several similar white horses to be seen around Wiltshire..." Uffington's in Berkshire. But I agree we should work in the really old horse here somewhere. Xn4 (talk) 01:40, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
...as with many quibbles, this one leaves the reader with a misleading image. Perhaps the wording could be improved. --Wetman (talk) 00:02, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I see what you mean. Is that better? Xn4 (talk) 01:14, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Images[edit]

Found this on the front page with the black and white image pictured. Isn't the other picture more appropriate? the B&W seems to be an obvious facsimile and not of good quality (as typeface from the opposing page is visible.) --CancelHoo72 (talk) 22:02, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure the photograph works better at that scale, see this. Xn4 (talk) 01:40, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
