Federal Recognition[edit]

The Chickasaw are recognized, as mentioned by Wikipedia, and implied by the Tribal Government.

The article seems to imply that they're a dead tribe. I'm not going to fix it though, I'm tired, and I made a conscious decision that Wikipedia isn't worth major edits, as this would require. If somebody else wants to, that's all good though. --71.192.117.127 05:38, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Post Script: Also, that new linking confirmation is really damn annoying. I think I may try to stop minor edits and comments altogether.

The Chickasaw Nation is divided into 4 districts not five. They are properly named as Tishomingo, Pickens, etc. in the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.142.195.205 (talk) 19:35, 10 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Article classification[edit]

This article meets the criteria for Class C. I have made this change for WP:Oklahoma. Bruin2 (talk) 15:28, 9 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
