Requested move 20 August 2019[edit]

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Regrettably, the call here must be procedural close, because a redirect cannot be a current article title in a page move request. The request is listed as a malformed request, and the RMCD bot will not recognize it. (nac by page mover) Paine Ellsworthed. put'r there  01:48, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Chocolate cosmosChocolate Cosmos (flower) – There is already a page named Chocolate Cosmos and this page only has a capitalization variation. At the very least one or both of these pages need to be renamed to cause less confusion. lullabying (talk) 22:47, 20 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. "Chocolate cosmos" is not an article title. It is only a redirect to Cosmos atrosanguineus. There's nothing to be done here. Station1 (talk) 23:15, 20 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Agree with Station1 that there seems to be no problem here. On the face of it, there's nothing wrong with having different capitalizations of the same name point to different articles - see WP:DIFFCAPS. Also, is the nomination proposing to delete the Chocolate cosmos redirect? Because I think that's the worst of all possible options (the other three being 1. continue to point it to Cosmos atrosanguineus 2. point it to the manga article 3. make it a disambiguation page).
