Wright and Hope
[edit]Sterry, the A. D. Hope reference - [1] - has the date of the award as 1976. In Judith Wright's page the reference - [2] - has the date of her Robert Frost award as 1977. These references are both very reliable. Perhaps Gwen Harwood's award was in 1978? But there is still 1975 missing. I will talk to you about this on Tuesday Stellar 13:11, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Dates
[edit]Austlit shows Page as winning in 2006 (as here) but Salom winning in 2003, when he is shown here as winning in 2004. Anybody got any ideas which is correct? --Perry Middlemiss (talk) 00:53, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
- I've carried out a more detailed search of Austlit and even they seem to be inconsistent in their dates. It appears that the awarded is announced early in the year (around March) and some seem to think this means the award is for the year before the year of announcement. More research is required. I have a contact in Austlit and in the Fellowship of Australian Writers so I'll follow them up to see if I can get a defintive answer. --Perry Middlemiss (talk) 00:22, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
