Barely even fitting into the upper limits of Generation Y notwithstanding, 1989 is definitely NOT part of the "Cold Y" unique subset! "Cold Y" people aren't simply born before the fall of the Soviet Union; they also need to be old enough to have become somewhat socially aware prior to the fall. 1989 doesn't cut at all!
