Year Clarification[edit]

The 2nd paragraph under Life and Career states that she began her acting career after a manicurist job on a set at age 80 (which would have been 1982-1983 according to her listed birthdate), but later it is stated that her first acting gig to attract attention was the Megabucks advertisement in the late 70s. This does not add up, and I suspect a fact check is in order. User:WittMD —Preceding undated comment added 06:54, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

At Wendy's after she died[edit]

After Clara died Wendy's brought her back for a brief run with a Remember Clara promo. I remember seeing the Clara standee in a restaurant.

I heard that she ended up winning a lawsuit, based on the absence of non-compete clause in her contract with the agency. The lawsuit may have settled just before she died. I am not sure on the lawsuit situation. I am sure I saw the standee.  Randall Bart   Talk  21:44, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Two years have passed and the article has some more details. However, the article still does not mention her reconciliation with Wendy's. After she died, I saw the TV commercials and I saw a Clara standee in a restaurant. Clearly they had reconciled just before her death, and I vaguely remember reading that she was supposed to film a new commercial but she died. I don't have a reference, so I'm not adding anything, but it's a big hole in the article.  Randall Bart   Talk  18:27, 3 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
