Untitled[edit]

I am going to remove the dead emerald dove picture out of respect to a former living creature. Frances76 09:04, 5 July 2006 (UTC) I have also removed text referring to them being called "stupid dove" in Kerala as this yet again is a cultural reference and refers to the creatures in a degrading way. Whilst I would not fight to keep that sentence, the reason seems odd. A bird is incapable of understanding English, so how is it being degraded? Only people can be subjected to degrading language. jimfbleak 15:37, 5 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I added the sentence on the local name based on its habit of flying rapidly within forest spaces and often bumping into glass windows that it encountered on the way. The glass hit victim photo was also added in association with this. I am ok with the removal since the dead bird image can be objectionable. Perhaps someone on the Malayalam (language of Kerala) wikipedia might like to add that piece of cultural information. Shyamal 03:47, 6 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bulleted List[edit]

Anyone know how to move the bullets over to the right so that they are not superimposed on the images? Loopy30 (talk) 18:12, 19 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
