Non-notable

[edit]

Non-notable article created and nominated for DYK by the same person in less than a week? Holy conflict of interest Batman. 82.194.120.70 (talk) 13:55, 26 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hans-Joachim

[edit]

@Gerda Arendt: Do you happen to know of a source for Hans-Joachim Büsching's marital name change? I don't doubt that both names refer to the same person, but I think we ought to provide a citation if possible. Thanks! — RAVENPVFF · talk · 22:43, 30 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I gave the references for both names where the names are mentioned. To me, it looks like the same person, referred to by the same orchestra as its solo clarinetist from 2010 with other biography also matching. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 05:46, 31 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Gerda Arendt: That makes sense, but it would certainly be better if we had a source to support the assertion directly – especially the claim that the name change happened after his marriage. — RAVENPVFF · talk · 01:57, 2 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
My source is the cellist and composer who told me only now (I had not noticed, because I heard only the 5 Nov performance), and added "very copfusing". If I find something written, I can add it. It would be of greater importance if this was the clarinetist's bio (but I fear he's not quite notable enough, as mostly orchestra player with chamber music specialty, - some day I may try). For the composition, it doesn't really matter. It's a good sign of personal friendship but no more. You can compare images, as there is a video of the concert. Sorry that I took photos of all other numbers on the program but not that one. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:19, 2 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
