Schladming 1982[edit]

Before the FIS Alpine World Championships 1982, Mr. Cathomen was a ski racer who was good enough to achieve places in the top ten of downhill races (Super-G was not as yet made up) but now in Schladming his sports career changed for the better. Becoming first in the downhill race of the Alpine Combined (it was the second part of that event, carried out one day before the so-called "Special Downhill Race"), he was nominated by the Officials of Swiss Team for that "Special Downhill Race" - and starting as the first of all racers he could achieve a time which beared up against all competitors before Mr. Weirather (No 11) could overtake. 213.225.36.215 (talk) 12:15, 28 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
