disappeared text[edit]

OK, someone who is a computere guru can find it.....

If you go into the section on Secular institutes, you'll find that some text no longer shows up in the final article, nor does the picture of St Therese. If someone would be kind enought to make it come back to life?

why the neutrality check?[edit]

I find it odd that the canonical terms brought up the question of POV. The terms as listed are correctly used and defined. Further, as anyone around canon law knows, they are frequently misused.DaveTroy 20:25, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion in the main text body?[edit]

The following paragraph ends with a (to me) cryptic note. Isn't this something that should be moved to the talk page, instead?

  • A "religious order" is one in which solemn vows are taken by members, and that follows an accepted rule. Institutes in which members take only simple vows are religious congregations (a "clerical congregation", if primarily made up of priests and oriented toward priestly work; a "lay congregation" if not). (Canon 588 -- Note: this is not canon 588 of the Code of Canon Law 1983, so this paragraph needs to be duly revised).
