Oppose. This type of article is good compromise for a collection of otherwise non-notable individuals who never held public office and whose only connection is running as candidates in this election. I think the proposal to split the article relates to its potential length, if all 308 candidates are ever included. I wouldn't have an objection to dividing it by province, if others request this -- but I agree that dividing it by candidate would be counter-productive. CJCurrie20:14, 27 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think you need to worry about length. If you look at similar candidate pages, none of them list more than two dozen people. Notable politicians do have their own articles. As to the rest, well I think their obscurity is well deserved. Atrian21:17, 27 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
