Regarding the name, Corse is the Scots for Cross. It was found in other place names around Scotland. Sometimes you'd get both words used through the years in place names depending how the writer said it. http://www.dsl.ac.uk/dsl/

Yes - The derivation of Gorse from Corse is not correct. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.215.210.115 (talk) 13:10, 14 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

CrosshillCrosshill, Glasgow – Considering how many places there are called "Crosshill" or "Cross Hill", I doubt this is primary, it gets just under 2/3 of the views of Crosshill, Fife and Crosshill, South Ayrshire. Crosshill should be redirected to Cross Hill. Crouch, Swale (talk) 11:45, 18 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Constituency?

[edit]

Is the parliamentary constituency info up to date? Rather than stating one, would it be better to say which ones from which dates? BornHuman (talk) 16:45, 28 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
