Start Class

[edit]

I have changed the rating to start now since it is obviously not a stub anymore. I see that this page has a WP:RFF currently and after getting some feedback for improvement, it can probably be categorized as C-class.--Edward130603 (talk) 00:09, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Crudgington Creamery update

[edit]

I report Crudgington Creamery closed in 2014 after Dairy Crest concentrated spread production in Kirkby near Liverpool, and that the buildings are due to be demolished this year, these and other details cited to a report in tonight's Shropshire Star newspaper. I have placed the stated employment of "about 300 people" in 2005, the year Michael Raven's book "Shropshire" was published which appears as the citation; the newspaper report however states that "At the peak of its production, the Crudgington site employed around 200 people producing spreads.." (year not stated). The research department was moved to Harper Adams University, where Dairy Crest built an innovation centre employing staff transferred from Crudgington.Cloptonson (talk) 19:37, 12 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
