The "The" in the title is an inseparable part of the name of the organisation referred to and therefore should be retained:
Do not use A, An, or The as the first word (Economy of the Second Empire, not The economy of the Second Empire), unless it is an inseparable part of a name (The Hague) WP:MOS
A similar situation exists with The University of Manchester, the is part of the legal name but articles are discourage in Wikipedia article titles as I understand.Billlion (talk)
As an indication of this, the current URL used by the association is "theca.org.uk". I will admit that in the opening words of the article the The should have been emphasized. ~~
Nice article! I just started Royal Cruising Club and I notice that this article on the CA has more info on founding of the RCC (formerly CC). As that section is tagged as "too detailed" perhaps some of it could be moved to the RCC article? Billlion (talk) 08:42, 2 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
