Scratch race[edit]

Are the laps right for the scratch race? Allison Beveridge and Anna Knauer came down; surely, they would have lost a lap before they got going again? Schwede66 20:53, 15 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

According to UCI Scratch race rules (http://www.uci.ch/mm/Document/News/Rulesandregulation/16/26/54/3-PIS-20160604-E_English.pdf):- 3.2.182 - Riders suffering a recognised mishap shall be entitled to a neutralisation during the number of laps closest to 1300 metres (5 laps). On returning to the track, he/she shall resume the position he/she occupied before the mishap. Debnigo (talk) 11:40, 16 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Debnigo: Thanks for the explanation. Much appreciated. Schwede66 19:41, 16 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
