On 14 August 2021, it was proposed that this article be moved from Cycling at the 2016 Summer Olympics – Women's Omnium to Cycling at the 2016 Summer Olympics – Women's omnium. The result of the discussion was moved.

Scratch race[edit]

Are the laps right for the scratch race? Allison Beveridge and Anna Knauer came down; surely, they would have lost a lap before they got going again? Schwede 66 20:53, 15 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

According to UCI Scratch race rules (http://www.uci.ch/mm/Document/News/Rulesandregulation/16/26/54/3-PIS-20160604-E_English.pdf):- 3.2.182 - Riders suffering a recognised mishap shall be entitled to a neutralisation during the number of laps closest to 1300 metres (5 laps).
