"Low importance" !? How ignorant and/or parochial. The late Daša Drndić was probably one of the greatest modern Croatian writer ~ most of her works are available now in many translations including English (over 14 languages !). For more information see the long obituary about her the recent Guardian edition cited briefly in the article here. (Monday 23rd July 2018 issue). I do not have time to add / cite this article but much that an intelligent editor will need will be found there --stuff not mentioned here. Most importantly, there is her contribution to exposing SE European complicity in the Holocaust -- certainly neither trivial nor unimportant.
