I've boldly restored this. The song has attracted coverage in numerous books that are independent of the subject: [1] [2] [3] [4] (more on p90). Then there is this "Technique couldn’t finish the show without playing his cult classic “Dance With The Devil,” because for many people, it’s the first song they ever listened to by the independent hip-hop artist." and this One of Immortal Technique’s most chilling parables, “Dance With the Devil,” and [5] "Technique first gained some notoriety with the release of American Revolutionary Vol 1, which featured the dark and gruesome tale of “Dance with the Devil,” Technique’s most notable song.". Altogether I think these make it clear that WP:NSONG is met. @RoySmith, Anarcho-authoritarian, Czar, MartinJones, and Onel5969: I'm happy to take it to DRV, but it seems so straightforward to me that hopefully that isn't necessary. @Smartse, the links I could access show passing mentions, not any sign of significant coverage for the song's independent notability from the album. It's standard procedure to cover the song within context of the album's article before splitting out (summary style expansion). Revisited

[edit]

This has still continued to gain coverage since the last AFD. Here's those listed above and some more. The coverage varies in detail, but to me clearly demonstrates a major cultural influence that is independent of the album:

@MC-123: Nice work with the article! Some of the sources above might be helpful if you feel like expanding further. If not, I may get around to it at some point. SmartSE (talk) 21:21, 25 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you @Smartse! I really appreciate you finding these sources that can be helpful in expanding the article. Unfortunately, I don't have access to most of these sources, so I may have to leave it to you if you'd like to add more to the article. I'm so sorry about that. I wish you the best in whatever you are planning to do with it MC-123 (talk) 23:11, 25 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
