I have not been able to find any reference to this nickname on any album credits for this musician and the ony place he appears "Happy" is on his own website (probably to differentiate from other musicians called David Williams) - he remains David Williams on all sources - even his own album titles. Should a move to David Williams (bassist) be considered given that there is no article for The Dear & Departed musician or even to David Williams (jazz bassist)? He has been known as Happy Williams since the start of his career. The title of his 2003 album with Ron Reid and Orville Wright is Reid, Wright and be Happy! Proscribe (talk) 10:05, 20 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
