[edit]You sould be able to expand details on his army career from London Gazette announcements (some of these will have some false positives. there will be overlap between result sets, and without a few more variations, there may be a few things missing). {{London Gazette}} is useful for these as they have a habit of changing their urls from time-to-time, but issue and page number remain constant:
- Search by service number
- By full names
- By initials and surname
