No comments regarding Bowen's Extreme Bouts with alcohol, depression?
[edit]There are well-documented news articles regarding serious debilitating episodes in Bowen's life, including a recent (September 2014) LA Times story. Includes problems she's had with paying her taxes, both income and property, moving out of her house she owns with her husband, and now(?) living in a trailer park in a scrappy rundown Sacramento neighborhood. See http://www.latimes.com/local/politics/la-me-pol-debra-bowen-20140906-story.html. Why no paragraphs on these issues in her article??? 63.194.45.134 (talk) 17:45, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
Article cleanup - miscellaneous
[edit]I did some cleanup on this article tonight. A previous revision included Senator Bowen's date of birth, but I did not include that information in my update for two reasons:
- I was unable to independently verify the date
- Senator Bowen has been a leader in identity protection legislation, including confidentiality of birthdates

NEGATIVITY in last para
[edit]There is needless negativity in the last para about her.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.100.140.160 (talk • contribs) 03:23, 17 August 2007
- The last paragraph at the time looks ok. The current article is worded better though uses a couple of weasel words and lack citations. --Marc Kupper|talk 03:11, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
