Post-2006 Election Update Needed

Jimmy Carter
[edit]Why is Jimmy Carter listed here, if his presidency ended before the DGA was founded? --Jpcase (talk) 14:06, 20 March 2018 (UTC)
- Most likely, he was a member of the DGA's predecessor organization, the Democratic Governors Conference which according to this article's history section was an entity of the Democratic National Committee until the Democratic Governors Association was established as an independent organization in 1983.--TommyBoy (talk) 06:08, 19 December 2020 (UTC)
