Notability

I've had a request up for South African Everest Expedition, 1996 at Wikipedia:WikiProject_South_Africa/Open_tasks for a while now. I haven't had time to write the article myself, but if that article is created, this should be a redirect. The subject of this article, although covered by the media at the time (1996 was when the white South African media was desperately short of high profile POCs outside of politics) probably never cleared WP:BIO.
