Singles

[edit]

I added the earlier singles using despina's new compilation album titled "Singles" Obviously if theses songs are on the cd, they are singles. Since i used that as my source, i put the year as the year that they first appeared on a cd. If anyone has anymore info, please add.Grk1011 (talk) 00:31, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sales and thresholds

[edit]

I have decided to remove the "sales threshold" column from the table as it was becoming more and more abused. Originally, it was to be based solely upon the certification of an album, but now more and more "exact" sales figures have been added contrary to the purpose of the column. Additionally, it is original research to figure out the sales based on certifications unless they are presented by a source (ie. The album was certified platinum for sales of 40,000). Adding to that the fact that the certification levels have changed several times over the years and it is not clear when each album was certified, the task is near impossible to complete accurately. Chart positions

[edit]

I would suggest that somebody with more time than me reviews the chart positions shown on this page, all of which are uncited (citations should be given). I have reviewed the United Kingdom positions, using the archive at the Official Charts Company. "Opa Opa", which was shown as reaching number one in the United Kingdom, failed to chart. "Gia", which was shown as reaching 39, actually reached 63. It looks like there has been some confusion between the United Kingdom and Ukrainian chart positions, and possibly also between the United Kingdom and United States Dance Chart positions. There may well be similar confusion between other columns. Skinsmoke (talk) 08:31, 19 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
