Article should be merged with urinary bladder
[edit]If you look at the article about urinary bladder it has a section on the detrusor muscle which is more more elaborate than this article. At least if it is deemed not to be merged it should be considered to elaborate this article more either by adding info or taking info from the urinary bladder article. Preventing vesicoureteral reflux as a function of the detrusor
[edit]Should this article mention that the contraction of the detrusor also functions to prevent vesicoureteral reflux by closing off the ureteric orifices? Matthew Hoctor (talk) 03:27, 2 November 2023 (UTC)
