Do we have room for Jack Black in here? Drmies (talk) 17:51, 11 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It could probably be mentioned in the "Variations and spin-offs" section. FallingGravity 07:56, 14 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hyphenating "adjective-noun noun" phrases when the adjective modifies the first noun

[edit]

Shouldn't this be called "Distracted-boyfriend meme", because it's the boyfriend who's distracted, not the meme? Remember that a "used-car buyer" is someone who buys a used car, whereas a "used car buyer" is a car buyer who feels used. Incremental Improvements (talk) 22:59, 13 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have any sources which use a hyphen? FallingGravity 07:55, 14 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Moving the page

[edit]

I'm considering moving the page from it's current title to either "Distracted boyfriend (meme)" or "Distracted boyfriend (internet meme)". Thoughts? Objections? Americanfreedom (talk) 05:54, 1 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't need "meme" as a disambiguating term. And to the above discussion, sources do not hyphenate it. (not watching, please {{ping}}) czar 20:57, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

meme repeats the work of the Kyrgyzstan artist?

[edit]

presumably, the meme repeats the work of the Kyrgyzstan artist Аманкожоев К. Кубанычбек /Amankozhoev K. (? Kubanychbek)/ (1934-1987)[1]https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fGO-A-eMDGKflocPX9jv-MM8C04mbsV_/view?usp=sharing
