[edit]Please refrain from actively updating the subscriber count when the change is not significant, because this means the information will most likely change a short time after you made the edit. Thanks Zweeb101 (talk) 01:03, 31 December 2016 (UTC)

Possible removal from list
[edit]An entry in List of colors: A–F contained a link to this page.
The entry is :
- Dodie yellow
I don't see any evidence that this color is discussed in this article and plan to delete it from the list per this discussion: Talk:List_of_colors#New_approach_to_review_of_entries
If someone decides that this color should have a section in this article and it is added, I would appreciate a ping.--S Philbrick(Talk) 16:28, 19 August 2018 (UTC)
The name "Dodie Clark"
[edit]For personal reasons, not discussed by dodie, she prefers not to use her surname. I think that on her page her surname should still be available but be featured much less prevalently than it currently is and it should be made clear that she wishes to be known by her first name only. Meganatthebarn (talk) 16:13, 2 August 2020 (UTC)
- Agreed, this article is about the musician and YouTube personality known as ‘dodie’ (lowercase d, no surname. See also her profiles on Spotify, Apple Music.) On Instagram Stories she has expressed an interest in removing her surname from accounts relating to her music. The page Dodie_Clark should redirect to Dodie (stylised as dodie). Liamnewmarch (talk) 14:20, 6 August 2020 (UTC)
- Agree with above, page name should be Dodie (stylized as dodie) Gracefulpearl (talk) 16:25, 13 September 2020 (UTC)
Pronouns?
[edit]Is there a reason the article constantly switches between "she" and "they"? Does anyone know what pronouns dodie uses? The constant switching is off-putting to read. 38.13.11.185 (talk) 14:42, 23 June 2021 (UTC)

I assume, like with other articles about people who use multiple pronoun sets, one set should be decided on to be used across the article and the first usage of a pronoun should include a footnote with clarification (e.g., https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mae_Martin) — Preceding unsigned comment added by UnePatateFrancaise (talk • contribs) 08:29, 6 March 2022 (UTC)
Sexuality and Pronouns
[edit]Any reason why dodie's sexuality and pronouns have been removed from the personal life section? NowInHD (talk) 17:05, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
Mental Health
[edit]I have removed a section entitled "Mental Health" from the article, as it was uncited, and that is a clear violation of BLP. If somebody wants to find a source, they can restore it from the history. --ColinFine (talk) 14:05, 17 September 2021 (UTC)
