The lecture took place in Smith's old home, Panmure House. Tim Wilcock of Fringe Review said, "Frisby is an engaging and charismatic presenter of a topic that looks as dry as toast on paper yet flows like champagne and canapes... This was undoubtedly an extensively and well-researched, engagingly delivered and a thoroughly enlightening hour of education and entertainment that’s well worth seeking out."

I'm going to leave it to someone else to answer the request, but I have formed the references for you, warts and all. I will say that many of them are unreliable; IMDb and Wikipedia are not reliable sources, as anyone can edit them. WP:RSP is very much the bible for this sort of thing.--Launchballer 21:33, 4 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

  Clarification requested

  • The request states I just wanted to draw your attention to a couple of inaccuracies in the article, and also to add some recent information.
  • This inaccurate information has not been separated in the request from the other information that the COI editor wishes to add to the article. These need to be separated[a] because dealing with the inaccurate information is the priority. This can then be followed by a review of the additional information that is proposed to be added.
  • Thus, in order to proceed, the edit request proposal needs to be separated into three categories:
  1. Information which is inaccurate and needs to be corrected, and for which, reliable secondary sources are available to confirm the corrections
  2. Information which is inaccurate and needs to be corrected, and for which, no reliable sources are available because the information is of a nature that only the subject of the article would know for sure (such as personal information, children, marriage, etc. — and only if any of these exist in the request. If not, this category may be ignored).[b]
  3. Information that should be added to the article, and for which, reliable secondary sources exist.

Kindly reformulate your edit request to follow these guidelines, and feel free to resubmit that edit request at your earliest convenience. Regards,  Spintendo  22:14, 4 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notes

  1. ^ By "separated", the reviewer means for the COI editor to list separately the three different categories of requested changes. This may be accomplished by simply placing each different claim under its own subheader, i.e.:

    Inaccurate info - referenced
    Claim 1
    Claim 2

    Inaccurate info - personal nature/unreferenced
    Claim 1, etc.

    Added information - referenced
    Etc...
  2. ^ If any requested information falls under this category, the COI editor will need to prove their identity to Wikipedia. They may do this by sending an email to Wikipedia's Open-Source Ticket Request System (OTRS) at the following email address: info-en-q@wikimedia.org

I have edited the entry as per the instructions of the editor (thank you). It is very hard to find sources for documentaries that aren't IMDB. In some cases I have linked to the film on YouTube at the point at which my credit in the film appears. There are going to be some things that are not properly referenced, but I can assure you nothing stated below is untrue. This has taken me a long time! I hope it can be made to work. If you want to use any images you are welcome to use any from here. Frizzers (talk) 12:33, 5 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Comments go at the bottom of the page; I've moved your most recent ones. I've removed the unreferenced inaccurate information. The problem with IMDb is that it is freely editable; Reflinks, a tool used to form references, won't touch it. Spintendo, is Docuwiki a reliable source, and what's the protocol for referenced inaccurate information?--Launchballer 13:45, 5 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
