My Edits
[edit]This article will continue to be deleted until the trolls learn to post factual information and not just their opinion. The use of Don Henrie's parents name is strictly prohibited, as obviously they occur harassment due to this article and their name being posted. Certain information about "shows" were asked to be removed by their executive producers as they are considered slander and the person(s) posting their slanderous thoughts could be held liable. Many of your facts are wrong, most of Don's recent photography have no Gothic or Victorian mood to it, yet you post this. All of his imagery in the past two years have been created without contacts, yet you post he wears contact. He isn't just on the Exile Asylum Roster, he is their spokes person. He is also co-owner of their website yet this information was not properly posted. No mention has been made about any of his new projects, or his controversial interviews on Angels & Demons, and God & Religion (links are clearly provided for you, yet you refuse to post about these.) You also post about his manager in this article which has no relevance, if you wish to post information about Don's manager, start a Wikipedia page for her. This article is so one sided that his links have not even been updated. This is supposed to be based on fact, not opinion. Until I see a proper factual article posted, I will continue to have my staff delete your work, until you get a clue. It is too bad none of you are in the public so you can have your own slander pages started. Such a shame you spend your time on a person you have yet to meet.
I took out some of the listed appearances because I could not find any references to them. If someone can find an online reference, by all means put it back up.
I added the controversy section because he is considered a controversial figure in the vampire community. I tried to make it as neutral as possible, but if anyone wants to revamp (haha) it, by all means do so. --Ursula darling (talk) 02:04, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
- You do realise that Livejournal, Myspace and IMDb are not reliable sources, right? Same goes for any blogging site, forum or indeed any website with user-edited information. I'll remove the inappropriate links. Blackmetalbaz (talk) 13:24, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
- OK, edited slightly to remove some links and improve spelling. The issue with the inappropriate links is not one of verifiability, but of notability. Literally anyone can post something on a message-board somewhere, but that doesn't mean that their statements should be included here; same goes for Youtube. I'll give it a couple of days, but if better sources aren't found, I'll be deleting any unsourced statements. I'll also be looking at the "vampire" sites currently left in the article to see whether they're self-published sources; if they are, they will be getting deleted too. Blackmetalbaz (talk) 13:36, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
- First: Thanks for the corrections. I need to do more reading and bone up on this whole Wiki business. The only thing that I would like to keep is the Ordo Strigoi Vii livejournal entry, because that entry itself is what caused the controversy that was mentioned. But I can try to find a better source for the information in it. Second, I just totally messed up trying to revert unnecessary edits. So sorry for the messiness. I'm sure there are instructions around here somewhere, so I'll try looking them up.--Ursula darling (talk) 23:31, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
- I took out what I couldn't find sources for and provided sources for what I could. I also took out the self-published sources. I undid the edits by Secretsanta25. If they would kindly explain why the information they took out needs to be gone, I will accept it and let it go. --Ursula darling (talk) 22:04, 27 November 2008 (UTC)

Recent revisions
[edit]A new editor recently added a substantial amount of content to this article, which I have reverted. I'd just like to explain my reasons for this. Firstly to deal with a major problem with the opening... if you make claims like "Henrie is the only proven specimen of a vampire", you need to provide a reliable source; in this case we're talking about a peer-reviewed scientific paper, not an alternative culture website. However, a bigger problem with the revisions was a misunderstanding of what Wikipedia is not; Wikipedia is not a links farm for somebody Myspace and DeviantArt affiliations and such a preponderance of external links should not be included. It is possible something could be made of the interviews Henrie has done with TV shows and print publications, but only if the content of those interviews is somehow built into the body of the article. Anyway, hope that's helpful and good luck with future editing! Blackmetalbaz (talk) 13:18, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
- Another dubious edit has just been reverted... for the last time, "transhumanism" is not a religion, and "eclectic studies" is meaninglessly vague (and pretentious); as such they will be removed if placed in the "religion" section of the box. I was also confused as to the reversions of the corrections to fibromyalgia and "sun poisoning"; the terms and links are now correct once again. Blackmetalbaz (talk) 12:21, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
Don on Tyra edit
[edit]Making the opening statement more direct and a reflections of Don's actions rather than a value statement about an ambiguous "others". If there was a reaction of incredulity from either the audience or Trya state what they actually did or said. I would also suggest changing remainder of the sentence to more accurately describe what he said or did rather then sharing a value judgment. i.e. State what Don said about a lancet, state tasks Don performed, and state what claims he made about himself. Since I've not seen the show (yet, though I might research it sometime later), I'm not changing that portion of the material at this time.--SiIIyLiIIyPiIIy (talk) 13:21, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
Media Appearances
[edit]I feel this section should be deleted:
He has been intereviewed and featured by MaximOnline[1], Metro UK [2] and recently appeared on the season 4 Halloween special of the Tyra Banks Show[3].
There appears to be no reason to include this, since it is clearly illustrated Don has appeared in these forums elsewhere in the entry. It is simply restating information.
- SLP, I am happy to finally see you doing some productive edits for this community and no longer pushing all that promotional content from Belanger. I hope to see you progress in this community and that your bad start was only just that. In case that you will not repeat your past mistakes of disruptive posts/reverts, please be welcome to Wikipedia. Looking forward to your future edits and contributions.
