It is a disambiguation page

Dost Mohammad is a disambiguation page, as elements such as "Khan" or "of Bhopal" are not surnames but titles or territorial designations, and of course when we look at links we see that simple forms of the name without the titles or territorial designations redirect here. Removing the disambiguation template from it makes it harder for people to find and fix incorrect links. DuncanHill (talk) 20:49, 2 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@DuncanHill: I was going by the description, which says it's a given name, so I added {{given name}}, which is standard for that kind of set index. Surely all the names here are not titles? Qandhari? Baloch? Khosa? — Gorthian (talk) 22:45, 2 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
"Baloch" means "Balochi", "Qandhari" means "of Kandahar", "Khosa" is a tribal designation (see Khosa). DuncanHill (talk) 23:52, 2 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I was trying to point out that those people use those names as family names or surnames now, whatever their original meanings. If so, then this is a list of people who share the same given name (not the same entire name) and the templates I added are the right ones. See MOS:APO, especially WP:APONAME-LIST.
As for incoming links, it just as easy to check those for accuracy as for any other article. There are four articles that link to this page right now, two with correct links and two that need to have a particular person linked instead. It's very similar to a dab page that way, except there aren't special tools to help fix the links (yet). — Gorthian (talk) 05:57, 3 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I fixed a lot of incorrect incoming links before you unilaterally decided that it was not a dab page. The people listed on the page, especially the only really famous Dost Mohammed, 'do not (or rather did not) use surnames in the modern western sense. Perhaps you could explain why it is helpful to make it hard to find and fix incorrect links? DuncanHill (talk) 07:46, 3 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
