Invention of software componentry[edit]

I find claim that he "invented the entire concept of software componentry" a bit extreme. My understanding is he was the first to publish or publicly speak about it, but didn't necessarily invent it single-handedly. Question Is there any policy on file type in the external links? The sxi file presentation may be interesting but it's an ancient, obscure format.
