This article is in good shape, but needs some wikifying. I have a few comments/queries:

  • His name is variously given as Dubislav (article title) and Dubislaw (lead and infobox). I understand one is the German, but we should choose the common name and stick with it done
  • suggest listing the wars he fought in, in the lead, which will give it a bit more meat (it is a smallish). done
  • link Cornet (rank) done
  • what regiment was he first commissioned into? It's not clear although I suspect it was Gessler No. 4.
  • typo Cuirassier and initial cap for Regiment as it is a formal title also elsewhere done
  • link Rittmeister done
  • I would link major general to generalmajor instead of major general, and generalleutnant likewise, as the current ranks were not equivalent at the time done
  • drove back crews? Do you mean garrisons? fixed
  • link Bohemia and Moravia done
  • link Pomerania done
  • link Goleniów for Gollnow at first mention done
  • link Gryfice for Greifenberg done
  • link Prenzlau done
  • link Słupsk for Stolp done
  • Russian General Gottlieb Heinrich Totleben's, as based on his name, one would assume he was German, and it needs to be possessive done
  • link Silesia done
  • who is Lacy? rank, full name and link? done
  • is there a link for Köblin? done linked but no article. I don't know where it is. Probabliy a fleck of a village that is long gone.
  • "he was able to conquer the crossing" what crossing? done
  • link Kołobrzeg for Kolberg done
  • is Landsberg the same as Landsberg an der Warthe? If so, suggest using its full name for clarity done
  • link magazine (artillery) at the first mention done
  • suggest "the bridge over the Warthe" rather than Warthe Bridge done
  • suggest using Parsęta instead of Persante done
  • link Order of the Black Eagle in the body done
  • link General of the Cavalry I've done that, but it's linked to an article that should date from 1870-
  • File:DubislawPlaten.jpg needs a proper source found artist. not sure there is a source, but I think that is from the book of portraits done at the Prussian Academy of Arts.....
  • The source for File:Sophia Susanna Charlotte, Frau von General Dubislav Friedrich von Platen, by German school (ca 1750).jpg is dead and it also needs a US PD tag took it out

That's me done. Placing on hold for comments to be addressed. Cheers, Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 03:04, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I made a few tweaks to your edits. This article is well-written, verifiable using reliable sources, covers the subject well, is neutral and stable, contains no plagiarism, and is illustrated by appropriately licensed images with appropriate captions.
