Dunlop, is a brand popular known for making Tyres but also a manufacturer in Tennis and Golf Goods.
They started off as the Liverpoool Rubber Company and later on became Dunlop.
They also fairly well known for making their Dunlop Green Flash Plimsoll. In the 1830's they made the very first plimsoll. Later on famous Tennis player Fred Perry wore the Green Flash trainers in 1935 and 1936. They have sold over 25 Millon pairs of the Green Flash, they remained a brief moment of popularity between the 1970's and 1980's in England.
Nowadays they do not remain one of the most popular trainers in England, but remain somewhat popular in many fashion stores such as Topman and Burtons you can still buy them from Sports Direct.
