Hidden away
[edit]Why is this hidden away with redlinks at Edward Harold Physick, Edward Physick, E. H. Physick, E.H. Physick, Edward Visiak? Gene Nygaard (talk) 12:34, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
Physick family
[edit]There is confusion in account of the Physick family, for example at [1] which as the updated Dictionary of British Sculptors 1660–1851 ought to be authoritative.
It appears that Visiak's father was Edward Joseph Physick (not James). He married in 1877 ({{Cite web|url=https://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/information.pl?cite=bd3pVFAnsVbOqM%2BKA2crbg&scan=1|title=Index entry|accessdate=26 November 2023|work=FreeBMD|publisher=ONS}}). The Morning Post for 6 October 1877 [2] reports that "Edward Joseph, eldest son of Mr. E. J. Physick, of 136, Marylebone-road" was married to "Maude Ann, eldest daughter of Mr. John Searcy, of 57, Connaught-street". That's the chef John Searcy, founder of Searcys.
