[edit]Politicians should not be able to write their own entries. I can't see the point of this, or any entry like it, even being in the encyclopedia. All one has to do to get this kind of information is go to the politician's own website.Wlegro (talk) 16:31, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
It didn't even mention that he worked for the disgraced Mike Hernandez! I tweaked it to be less one-sided, and added the criticism the Weekly has in its last endorsement. The continual closure of Wilshire, for commercial purposes, which none of his predecessors approved I think deserved mention. Also took out the paragraph of propoganda about being a champion of the people, etc. And added mention of the good he has done making rent control stronger. I hope this has made it more balanced. - Someone has taken anything critical out and turned it again into a puff piece. I have restored the material deleted, and took out the stuff that was making it too much of a puff piece (or dealt with happenings in MacArthur Park that really belong in the entry for it). I'll let people reach their own conclusions about what happened and why.Dgabbard (talk) 20:57, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
- It seems any critical material is almost instantly wiped away. Sad that seemingly there are forces who wish to preclude anything other than have a puff piece on the councilman. Dgabbard (talk) 20:39, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
