pronunciation
[edit]Does anyone know the proper pronunciation of Pusey? If so, would you add it to the article page. --Victoria h (talk) 03:02, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
Further editing needed
[edit]This morning (Pusey's feast day for Episcopalians) I edited out some of the passive constructions in the article's sections relating to the Oxford Movement and dropped a citations needed note on the sentence relating to John Henry Newman, whose article hadn't even been wikilinked previously. I noticed that this page has a photo of his family with the suggestion that it be added. Frankly, I think the family stuff should be taken out of the later life and legacy section, as well as elaborated, but I don't have the time to do so, nor sufficient background concerning the cleric to dare do so. Clearly, there are ample reasons this article is C class, and I hope someone can take the time to revise it and bump it up a class or 2.Jweaver28 (talk) 11:09, 18 September 2014 (UTC)
Infobox picture of Pusey
[edit]The current picture at the head of the article—the caricature drawing—seems inappropriate. It seems to me that it would be better to have the painting of Pusey at age 75 as the main picture, rather than a drawing making fun of Pusey. If no one objects, I will plan on switching these two pictures. Bnng (talk) 21:46, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
- Certainly I object. "Spy" drawings are very often used as lead pics. Given the inappropriately hagiographic text an element of contrast is a good thing. The photo of the painting is an especially poor image. Johnbod (talk) 03:23, 30 March 2016 (UTC)
