Contested deletion
[edit]The individual received obituaries written by staff writers in the largest newspaper in his city, as well as one of the most important newspapers in the United States. That indicates notability. --Antrocent (♫♬) 07:09, 15 August 2015 (UTC)
Significance
[edit]The Houston Police Department renamed its police headquarters building after him. That's more than enough justification for inclusion as a Wikipedia article.
