Brachystochrone Problem

[edit]

Can anyone confirm the claim that Tschirnhaus solved the Brachystochrone problem? Hofmann makes no mention in DSB. None of the standard french histories (Montucla, Bossut) list him as a solver. If nobody can provide a citation, I will delete. ProfBradley (talk) 10:39, 29 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Linking

[edit]

It used to be very easy to link to another Wikipedia page. I can't figure out how to do it now, with the change to how it is listed/hidden. Please link this to the Simple English article about this man. Kdammers (talk) 04:36, 11 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
