This is not acceptable - differences of opinion about article content need to be solved by discussion on the talk page, and not by changing the content back and forth, repeatedly. As the statements have sources, it appears to this uninvolved editor that it belongs in the article, but if there are valid reasons within Wikipedia policy to remove it, it should be removed. Criticism in reliable sources against politicians is included in their Wikipedia articles, because Wikipedia does not take a stand for or against - it only reports what the opinions for and against are. On the other hand, if the sources are not reliable, if they are misrepresented in the article, or if the criticism is not really relevant (such as the comment about the person being one of 150,000 people who did not file their property statement on time) then it should not be included. I'm not qualified to offer input on the reliability of the sources or whether they are correctly represented in the article. --bonadea contributions talk 09:36, 17 December 2010 (UTC) Written by UN Nepal Mission Thursday, 05 November 2009 16:39 Press Release[reply]

Today, Hon. Ek Nath Dhakal, Member of the Constituent Assembly and Member of the delegation of Nepal, made a statement on the agenda entitled Towards Global Partnerships at the Second Committee of the 64th session of the General Assembly.

Speaking on behalf of the group of the least developed countries (LDCs), Mr. Dhakal stated that the least developed countries were yet to get what was committed by their developed partners in development aid, debt relief, trade concessions, technology transfer and capacity building. He urged the international community to sincerely implement all the commitments made in the true spirit of global partnership. He underlined a strong need to redouble the efforts across the UN system funds, programs and agencies to build a robust approach for engaging in effective, sustainable and transparent partnerships for addressing the special needs of the least developed countries.

Mr. Dhakal said that the least developed countries required even more strengthened global partnership in the areas like developing a more strategic approach, building institutional capacities, enhancing support for small and medium-sized enterprises, ensuring alignment between global partnerships and country development agendas, building an enabling framework and enhancing capacity-building. Saying “The world is one home and the entire human beings are one family,” he added, “This requires the recognition that it is a global responsibility to getting the least developed countries out of quagmire of poverty, conflicts, disasters, food insecurity, hunger and grappling impacts of climate change and economic crisis.” He also said that the spirit of global partnership should guide the upcoming Fourth UN Conference of the Least Developed Countries to be held in Turkey in 2011.
