Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Fabian Hamilton. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Antisemitism and Labour Party

[edit]

It is not clear what is contested from the Jewish Chronicle article used to explain Hamilton's interactions on antisemitism. The source is a valid one used elsewhere and is in keeping with the Wikipedia policies on BLP.

The material originally sourced from Daily Mail has now been sourced elsewhere. The meeting with Al-Saud is undisputed. The Labour Party itself issued a statement acknowledging it, as quoted.

The photos from facebook are from Al-Saud's own page, but if that is not accepted as a source, an alternate source is also given.

Removing this section is unjustified as Hamilton has been widely reported to be the only Jewish front bench MP in Labour, and has been involved in this issue, which is so important it merits its own specific wikipedia entry.

Please can we establish a satisfactory resolution which does not involve removing the entire section as that seems to be vandalism of a page on a public figure and politician. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.120.229.98 (talk) 14:26, 14 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Shadow Minister for Africa

[edit]

Fabian Hamilton was the Shadow Minister for Africa from Wednesday 20 January 2016 to 29 June 2016. This needs updating in the bio. 80.3.152.217 (talk) 15:11, 30 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
