This article was the subject of an educational assignment in 2014 Q3. Further details were available on the "Education Program:University of Maryland, College Park/WMST 250: Women, Art, and Culture (2014 Q3)" page, which is now unavailable on the wiki.
I read phrases like "she intertwines them flawlessly into the culture of the cities her stories are set in". If this is a quote then it should have quote marks. If it is an original sentence then its bit too flowery for wiki. Is there a simpler and more direct way of saying that? e.g. her stories include the local culture.
