[edit]

It was four Mustangs not five on this operation. I was the pilot of KH554 O orange A lucky shot one bullet pierced my coolant header tank a 90degree deflection shot at maximum range from the rear gunner. It was obvious that I had only a few minutes flying time left I tried to bale out but the canopy jamed so I had to force land into an unsuitable site and broke the aircraft in half. I evaded capture and subsequently re joined my Sqdn. I would be very interested to knowq what happened to the crew of the Fiesler 167 If they survived the war and if so are they still around. I would very much like to make contact I expect the gunner got the Iron Cross incidently I anm still flying — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.173.120.97 (talk) 14:45, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

In which way was the Fi 167 related to the Fi 156 Storch? Both aircraft seem quite different in function and construction. Unless someone can provide verifiable evidence of this relationship, I'll remove that sub-section of "See also". Regards, DPdH (talk) 11:10, 17 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
