Why is Emerson in the Overview?[edit]

Emerson is referenced out of the blue in the last line of the second paragraph of the Overview and again in the third paragraph, as if he was one of the Fireside Poets. I don't know enough on this subject to fix it -- hopefully someone else can clear this up. Is Emerson part of the Fireside Poets? If not, why is he being mentioned? Emerson is often included in the list of Fireside Poets, for some reason. However, the source used here for the list apparently did not include him when it talked about them. I can edit to clarify.
