Shouldn't this be named Firestar (comic series)? Ventifax

I've thought this since I first found and expanded this article, but I don't know how one goes about changing the title of an article. Firestar (comics series) or (limited series) or something like that. - Pennyforth 16:18, 27 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

[edit]

This really needs to be merged with Firestar. --Basique 23:42, 17 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Not really. The main article for Firestar is a general overview of the character's overall history, from the Amazing Friends series to all of her Marvel Universe appearances. This article is a detailed description of the specific events of the character's self-titled mini-series and connected appearance in Uncanny X-Men. Besides, this article is fairly good-sized, and the main Firestar article isn't much smaller; merged together, they would be quite unwieldy. If this article is deemed unnecessary (and I'd say it's just as valid as any other comics-related article on Wikipedia), it would be better to delete this article and possibly add some extra detail to the "Hellions and Firestar" section of the main article. For my opinion, I don't think a merge or deletion is necessary--but then, I've put enough work into this article that I'll admit my opinion is a tad biased. -- Pennyforth 12:01, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge - a similar vote came up over Orion (comics) and his eponymous limited series and the result was merge. This entry is basically all plot which would need to be heavily trimmed down. A slimmer version would then obviously fit better into main entry. (Emperor 04:14, 12 September 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Emmafrostfirestar.JPEG

[edit]

Image:Emmafrostfirestar.JPEG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:38, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
