Recent Work[edit]

Put references back, didn't see any good reason for deleting them. They need to be formatted though. Also, changed the picture, since it was so plain and not very descriptive. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mizower (talkcontribs) 17:40, 18 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Comment[edit]

I will be adding quite some content to this page in the following month. Don't be conserned that the different sections seem to be out of proportion Hauberg 14:34, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Comment[edit]

Is fluorescence spectroscopy applicable only to molecules and not atoms? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.127.36.235 (talk) 12:23, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fluorescence can be detected from atoms. Because atoms have no vibrational states, the emitted photon has the same energy as the incoming photon (resonance fluorescence). However, the technique is usually not more sensitive than atomic absorption spectroscopy so it is less commonly used. I will add a section for atomic fluorescence at some point. --Biophysik (talk) 20:50, 29 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Inappropriate illustration[edit]

The figure Fluorospectrometer.gif is inappropriate as an illustration for Fluorescence spectroscopy, as it shows the subject as a black box, which is the opposite of what people seek when they visit this article. 149.217.1.6 (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 13:25, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Fluorescence spectroscopy. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
