Merger proposal
[edit]I propose merging List of people declared personae non gratae in Azerbaijan here (perhaps reworded to plain text) to avoid WP:POVFORKing. Declaring someone persona non grata is a relatively routine occurrence among nations and is a matter of raison d'État, depending on foreign relations. To my knowledge, there's no other list of personae non gratae in Wiki. Brandmeistertalk 08:28, 30 August 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose The list itself is a topic worth of a separate article. It has been a matter of discussion in Armenia, NKR and Azerbaijan. --Երևանցի talk 21:09, 30 August 2013 (UTC)
- Support. I think most countries of the world have people whom they declared personae non gratae, but I'm not aware of any other list of such people. I don't think listing every person declared personae non gratae in a certain country is an encyclopedic content. I think this article should be merged, with the main article providing info on this issue. Grandmaster 21:50, 30 August 2013 (UTC)
- Support. This is not encyclopedic information, giving brief information about this fact Foreign relations of Azerbaijan should be enough. This list can be obtained from [the official web-site of MFA of Azerbaijan], there is no point to copy-paste the content to Wikipedia. Sincerely, Anastasia Bukhantseva 18:09, 20 September 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose. Merging would unbalance the much more important material already at Foreign relations of Azerbaijan. If the content is truly unencyclopaedic then it should be deleted rather than merged. Klbrain (talk) 14:14, 12 November 2016 (UTC)
