Untitled[edit]

GTR Evolution is one of, if not the biggest release for sim racers this year. This article will be expanded upon by myself and hopefuly others and should not be deleted. It also doesn't fit in the criteria for articles to be quickly deleted as it is software.

== Shouldn't the article be changed to present tense if per the opening paragraph, the game was already released? Evrything after that says "The game will include"...it should say "the game includes"... 162.136.192.1 (talk) 22:10, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Top Gear Test Track[edit]

Top Gear Test Track is not included, or am I horribly wrong? --Motorsport-archive (talk) 21:26, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Top Gear Test Track is not included, nor is, contrary to many peoples beliefs, Authentic Physics. As anyone can see, many cars share the same exact physics code, such as the Audi R8 and SRT 10 (two completely different kinds of cars), sharing precisely the same exact suspension geometry code, this goes the same for many other cars as well. Back when GTR hit, every car had absolutely bespoke physics using GPS and MoTeC data, but now it seems they just lazily code these cars by using estimates and templates to just get the job done. Any experienced modder like me who knows ISI code, can open up those files and see for themselves how much of a lazy job they did with their titles. These physics development problems have been around since WTCC The Game, and it's done nothing but get worse and worse with every title since. Race Pro is HORRIDLY inaccurate and feels several notches down than it's PC counterpart, which just adds insult to injury. I never thought I'd see the day when a console game like Forza 3 would have superior physics than a title developed by Simbin. Simbin has truly lost their way, and are literally riding on the reputation they made with GTR, GT Legends and GTR2. 76.119.2.41 (talk) 21:20, 20 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
