Historic omnibus image[edit]

Greetings Redrose64 … a couple of clarifications regarding your 6-Sep-2020 revert of my positioning of an image on this page…

To be clear: I mostly did the edit for aesthetic positioning of the image on the page. You'll see the positioning isn't so great after your revert. (Maybe left-side would help?)

"images go inside the most relevant section, not at bottom of previous"

My change wasn't necessarily between one section and another. I actually moved the image from a sub-section to the containing section. The image is appropriate for the section "Services elsewhere in England," which my edit placed it in.

The section name is "Slough", and the caption is "GWR Omnibus at Burnham Beeches near Slough, circa 1914". The image is directly relevant, see Wikipedia:Image dos and don'ts and Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Images#Vertical placement. Putting an image before the relevant heading also causes an accessibility issue, as described at MOS:ACCIM item 8. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 10:09, 7 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thx Redrose64 for the reference about accessibility. I'll leave it alone (was going to anyway).

Someday I may try putting it on the left side; still proper subsection. KKelvinThompson (talk) 17:25, 7 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
